General Thoughts
Head Coach Belinda Roby: I thought we played an outstanding second half, of course we dug ourselves in a hole the first half. But we made some adjustments in the locker room and came back and pretty much did exactly what we wanted to do for at least 13 minutes in the second half, and we tied the game up and got back in the game. We just had a couple mental let downs in the last few minutes of the game. Then of course some free throws, key free throws, kind of hurt us too.
Q: What was your mindset before the comeback?
Roby: Well for one thing, it is not over ‘til it’s over, so we just made the adjustment on defense and that pretty much carried us the second half. Just making the adjustment on defense and deciding to do something different.
Q for Nnenne Eze: What was your motivation coming out of the break?
Eze: Just to play hard, unfortunately this was my last game. Just to go out and leave it all out on the floor.
