Paying it forward to the next generation of NSU student-athletes
The NSU Athletics Varsity Club is an initiative designed to provide former
student-athletes, coaches and staff (Knights and Sharks) an avenue to sustain tradition, reconnect and support the future of NSU Athletics.
The purpose of the Varsity Club is to assist in promoting the academic and general athletic interest of the University in keeping with the traditions that exemplify the highest ideals of competition and sportsmanship. It will promote fellowship among members of the club, university administration and general student body. Additionally, it will support fundraising initiatives that enhance the athletic scholarships, student academic support and capital projects.
To join the Varsity Club, former Knights and Sharks can make a donation of $60. Donations can be directed to a specific sport program, or a support area of the student-athlete experience. Benefits to joining the club include:
- Sharks Sports Pass
- NSU Varsity Letter
- Invitation to a Varsity Club Special Event
The Varsity Letter: A tradition is born! All members who join the NSU Athletics Varsity Club will receive a framed varsity letter. Your support of the Varisty Cub will cover the expense of providing second-year student-athletes with their framed varsity letter; and unique opportunity to pay it forward.
