2023 - WOMEN'S SWIMMING
For the first time in program history, the Nova Southeastern Women's Swimming team earned the NCAA Division II National Championship. Head Coach Ben Hewitt led NSU through yet another dominant campaign, while Emily Trieschmann enjoyed one of the most successful individual seasons in NSU Women's Swimming history.
Trieschmann won five NCAA Division II National Championships and set national records, guiding NSU to the program's first national title. Trieschmann was named the Sunshine State Conference Athlete of the Year, SSC Swimmer of the Year and CSCAA National Swimmer of the Year. During the NCAA National Championship, Nova Southeastern claimed 11 titles.
Ben Hewitt led Nova Southeastern to the program's third consecutive Sunshine State Conference Championship and the Sharks set the meet record for total points (1,041).
