Biography

AS A JUNIOR (2020)*
Started in all 21 games he appeared, primarily in left field with some first base showings sprinkled in before the season was cut short by the COVID-19 pandemic...Ranked third on the team and 14th in the Sunshine State Conference with a .365 average, co-leading the team and ranking 49th in the NCAA for hits (31) and pacing NSU's home runs (3), topping the team in slugging percentage (.553), on-base percentage (.434) and times as a hit batsman (5)...Registered a team second-most seven doubles, had the second-most RBI at 15 and tied for fourth-most runs scored with 14 on the shortened season...Led the outfield corps with a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage, making 16 putouts in 2020...Made his NSU debut on opening night against No. 7 North Greenville (1/31), going 2-for-2 with a double, two RBI and one run...Including NGU, logged 10 multi-hit performances and five multi-RBI games, highlighted by a 3-for-4, 2-RBI outing at No. 15 Barry (2/21) and a 3-for-4, 2-run showing at West Florida (3/3)...Courtesy of a first-inning RBI single and a third-inning 3-run homer, collected a season-best four RBI against No. 2 Colorado Mesa in just his fourth game with the Sharks...Named to the Spring SSC Commissioner's Honor Roll was a D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award Honoree, earning the Tony Segreto Athletics Scholarship for the 2020-21 academic year...Named thre recipient of baseball's Ultimate Shark Award (MVP) during the annual Sharky's Athletic Awards in April.

PREVIOUS SCHOOL
Transfer from Florida International, the same school from which the Sharks previously received 2016 National Champion and the program's former home run record holder, Brandon Gomez... Starter in 78 of 94 games in his two years under head coach Mervyl Melendez, hitting .225 with 15 home runs and a .418 slugging percentage... .262/.341/.517 slash line with seven doubles, 10 homers, and 26 runs driven in as a freshman.

HIGH SCHOOL
Played alongside current teammate Johnny Leone, as well as former Sharks Christian Demby and current home run record holder Jake Anchia... Part of the Archbishop McCarthy powerhouse, winning three State titles along the way... Combined for 38 extra-base hits (23 doubles, four triples and 11 home runs) and 58 runs batted in between his junior and senior years, with a .394 average and .782 slugging percentage under coaches Rich Bielski and former Major Leaguer Alex Fernandez - father of former Shark Alexander Fernandez... Named to HSBN's All-American First Team in both 2016 and 2017 and was also named First Team All-County by both the Miami Herald and the Sun-Sentinel in 2017.
