Redshirted his first year at NSU.

HIGH SCHOOL
Played for four years at Western High School…His senior season he was named Second-Team All-County and served as team captain…Batted .327 with two home runs and 22 RBI…Throughout his career he was honored with the High School Silver Cord Award, Marine Corps Distinguished Athlete Award, Sportslink Student-Athlete of the Month and a Western High School class of 2010 Top Scholar…Played for the Pasadena Panthers summer team.
