Michael Callahan began his first year at Nova Southeastern University as a Graduate Assistant for Athletic Communications in August 2014, and was chosen as Athletic Digital Media and Graphic Design Coordinator in Feburary 2016. He also serves as the primary contact for baseball.
Callahan, a graduate from Saint Leo University’s Sport Business program, interned for NSU in 2014 as well.
During his time at Saint Leo University, Callahan was a four-year letterman on the baseball team in which he served as captain his senior year. Off of the field, Callahan served as the baseball team’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) representative from 2011 to 2014 and was an assistant to the Athletic Communications staff.
His most notable accomplishment was the production of Saint Leo Baseball’s “Harlem Shake” that gained over 400,000 views and made appearances on SI.com, Yahoo.com, MLB.com, and Good Morning America.
Callahan, a native of Hollywood, Fla., is currently pursuing his masters of science in athletic administration.
