The southpaw appeared in 11 games, all out of the bullpen, with no record and a 3.38 ERA …Did not allow a run in nine of his 11 appearances…Struck out eight batters in eight innings of work, including four in his 1 2/3-inning NSU debut, against Albany State (2/9)…Had a strikeout in four consecutive games (both games of a doubleheader on 3/23, 3/28, 4/20)…Earned the save in the season's final game, a 5-4 win over Florida Tech (5/10)…Only allowed three earned runs and walked two hitters in his debut campaign.

HIGH SCHOOL
Played baseball all four years for Coral Springs Charter…His batting average from senior year was .470…Achieved 32 RBI and 12 doubles…Was 7-1 on the mound with a 0.62 ERA that same year, with 75 strikeouts…Career batting average was .453…Honored as player of the year for Broward County and was named First Team All-State.
