During his first season as a Shark, Smeton made 11 appearances on the mound, throwing for 9.0 innings…In 4-of-11 relief appearances, he pitched for over 1.0 innings and allowed no earned runs…Captured one win against Barry (2/7), collecting three outs while only throwing six pitches…Had seven strikeouts across the season.

PREVIOUS SCHOOL
Transferred from Harford Community College…Compiled a 5-1 record, with one save…Owned a career line of 27.2 innings pitch, 33 strikeouts, seven walks and a .219 opponents batting average…Made eight relief appearances in 2017 for the Fighting Owls, striking out 14 batters in 12 innings.
