Made five relief appearances for the Sharks before the season was cut short by the COVID-19 pandemic, throwing 4.1 innings with a 6.23 ERA, a .200 average against and three strikeouts...Made his NSU debut against No. 7 North Greenville on opening night (1/31), tossing a season-long 2.0 innings with no hits, two walks and one strikeout...Logged a pair of strikeouts in one inning of relief against Assumption (3/8) to close the season.

Spent two seasons at Seminole State College in Sanford, FL...Recorded 55 strikeouts in 42.1 innings of work.

From Weston, Fla...Son of Juan and Ana...His father, Juan Guzman, had a 10 year MLB career winning two World Series titles...Has five siblings, Steffy, Kristy, Juan Jr., Rohana, and Adriana...Sport & Recreation Management major...His father is the most influential person in his life, and he attempts to live his life like his father does.
