AS A SOPHOMORE (2026)
Made eight appearances on the mound during the 2026 season… Posted a 1-1 record with a 6.35 ERA across 11.1 innings of work… Struck out 15 batters while allowing just 7 walks and 14 hits… Recorded scoreless outings in multiple appearances, including a no-hit effort against Embry-Riddle (FL) on 4/25/26… Alfonso’s top performance came against Lynn on 5/8/26, pitching a season-high 4.0 innings while striking out five, allowing three hits, zero earned runs, and issuing no walks to help secure the win.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
Previously pitched at the University of Tampa, where he made two appearances. He pitched 3.1 innings, recording three strikeouts and two walks. 

HIGH SCHOOL
Played baseball at Key West High School, where he was named to the 2020 Fall Top Prospect National Showcase Top Prospect List.
