AS A FRESHMAN (2013)
Redshirted his first year at NSU.

HIGH SCHOOL
Played at Nova for coach Pat McQuaid…Was 8-0 his senior season with a 1.70 ERA and 57 strikeouts…Named First Team All-County by the Sun Sentinel and Second Team All-County by the Miami Herald…Was also a preseason Louisville Slugger All-American.

PERSONAL
Majoring in criminal justice…Most memorable athletic achievement was striking out the last batter to close out a championship game…Must have a bowl of pasta and his chain on before every start…Favorite food is steak…Loves to vacation in the Bahamas…English is his favorite subject in school…Son of Richard and Susan Salzman…Has two older siblings, Drew and Blair.
