AS A REDSHIRT JUNIOR (2015)
Obtained a medical redshirt after appearing in three games out of the bullpen for the Sharks...Struck out seven batters and walked one in four innings pitched.

AS A REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (2014)
Patella played a major role out of the pen for the Sharks, making 19 appearances and finishing with a 3-1 overall record on the mound...Finished with 24 stikeouts in 28.2 innings pitched...Finished with a team-high six saves...Finished with a 1.88 ERA and held batters to a team-low .192 average...Didn't commit a wild pitch all season...Didn't allow a hit in 10 of his 19 appearances...Finished with a season-high four strikeouts in a season-high three innings pitched, in a 3-2 win at Barry (3/14)...Finished with a save in three of his first four appearances...Allowed just 19 hits on the year, the fewest on the team with a minimum of 20 innings pitched.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2013)

AS A FRESHMAN (2012)
Appeared in seven games, all in relief, going 0-1 with a 4.76 ERA…Made his NSU debut with a scoreless inning of work against Florida Memorial (2/15).

Played four seasons at Nova HS under head coach Pat McQuaid…As a starter, went 7-2…Was named an All-America Honorable Mention and was a All-Broward First-Team honoree.
