Electric in 10 games in relief in the Florida League, between the regular season, playoffs and Prospect Showcase, totaling three saves, 18 strikeouts, a 1.93 ERA and .180 opponent average in 14 innings... Struck out a batter in all but one of his outings, recording a season-high three strikeouts twice, including in the Rats' first playoff game on August 3rd, while tossing another season-high of 3.2 innings to earn the win in extras... Threw a pair of 1-2-3 innings with two strikeouts in the Prospect Showcase against the SunBelt League on July 17th... Picked up all three of his saves in his last three games of the regular season, getting strikeouts for seven of the 10 total outs in those games.

PREVIOUS SCHOOL
Played at the State College of Florida for two years under head coach Tim Hill II... In his first season for the Manatee, appeared in 25 games and made one start... Had a record of 1-3 in 25 innings, with a 2.88 ERA and 27 strikeouts, allowing 22 hits and 10 walks... Held a 0.87 ERA through his first 20 games, with 12 saves and 23 strikeouts to just 4 walks in 20.2 innings... His 12 saves ranked fourth in the NJCAA... As a sophomore in 2016, started all 16 games he pitched in, the third-most starts among NJCAA pitchers... Went 3-7 with a 4.34 ERA and two complete games in 85 innings pitched... Struck out 71 batters and walked 27... Was even better in conference play with all three of his wins and both complete games... Posted a 3.36 ERA and .262 opponent batting average in 9 starts, totaling 56.1 innings and 39 strikeouts to only 12 walks... In his career at SCF, made 41 appearances and 17 starts, put up a 4.01 ERA in 110 innings, and 98 strikeouts to 37 walks.
