Emilee Ebrill enters her third year as head coach for the cheerleading program.

After serving as assistant coach for three years, Ebrill, a 2005 graduate from Florida State University, took over the role from seven-year head coach CA Tolchinsky for the 2009-10 season.

Ebrill has been a part of the NSU cheer coaching staff since 2006. Over the years, Ebrill has played a monumental role in growth of the Sharks Cheer Team. With her assistance, the Sharks placed in the top 10 in 2009 at Universal Cheerleaders Association's national competition. The all-girl team placed 7th in 2009, 11th in 2008, and 14th in 2007. In 2001 Ebrill was an instructor for UCA, teaching at camps and clinics for the region's top cheerleading squads and performers, and continues to judge local competitions.

In addition to her coaching duties at NSU, Ebrill works as a sales representative for Varsity Brands, Inc. in the South Florida area. She and her husband, Joe, currently reside in Davie, Fla.
