AS A FRESHMAN (2013)Was a key runner on a Sharks team that claimed third in the Sunshine State Conference.PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
Competed for four seasons in cross country and track and field at Palm Beach Central HS under head coach Lisa Gallo...Was a captain as a senior and was named team MVP...Recorded his best times at 16:30 in the 5K, 4:37 in the mile, 9:54 in the two mile and 2:09 in the 800m.

Majoring in exercise and sports science...Enjoys playing ultimate frisbee in his free time...Lists the Detroit Tigers as his favorite sports team and Ryan Hall as his favorite professional athlete...Names his favorite move as School of Rock and his favorite TV show as CSI...Son of Michael and Sondra Smale...Has two younger siblings, Derek and Bethany.
