AS A SENIOR (2018-19)
The lone Shark to start all 33 games while averaging 31.8 minutes, a team-high… earned a spot on the All-SSC Second Team… led the team with her 14.3 points per game average and 473 points, while her points per game average ranked her sixth in the SSC… led the Sharks and the league as a whole with her 44.6 shooting percentage (100-of-224) from three-point range and 224 threes, while ranking seventh and sixth in the NCAA DII in those categories, respectively… also led the team with her 90.0 percent (81-of-90) shooting from the line… recorded 74 assists and 42 steals, both second-best on the team… logged 89 rebounds… set three career-highs on Mar. 18 against Florida Southern in the South Region Championship including points (30), rebounds (eight) and free-throws made (12)… made a career-high seven assists at Lynn on Feb. 20 and six steals against Tampa on Jan. 12… was named to the 2019 SSC Spring Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

AS A JUNIOR (2017-18)
In her first season as a Shark, she received two postseason nods from the Sunshine State Conference, finding her name on the All-SSC Second Team and All-SSC Newcomer Team… started in all but one of her 27 games played, leading the Shark squad with 13.1 points per game, ranking her in the Top-10 in the league… she also led NSU and the entire SSC with her 44.4 shooting percentage from long range (seventh best in the country) and 75 total three-pointers… Hughes ranks No. 2 all-time in an individual season with her three-point shooting percentage (.444), No. 3 all-time in three's made (75) and No. 1 in three-point attempts (243) after just one season… on Dec. 20, Hughes captured her first SSC Player of the Week honor, averaging 19.5 points in two wins over Benedict and Shaw... her career-high 28 points came from 9-of-16 shooting from the field and 7-of-13 from three-point range against the Bears, putting up the second-most points by any Sharks this season... her seven treys that game also tied her for third in NSU history for 3-pointers in a game... joined to 1,000 point club on Jan. 24 with her 16 points over Lynn... earned the women's basketball Ultimate Shark Award.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
Played two years for University of Minnesota-Crookston before becoming a Shark… led the team with a blistering 17.5 points per game, shooting 42 percent from the field and 46 percent from beyond the arc… also ranked first on the team with her solid 93 percent shooting from the line… tallied a record-high 36 points in a single game… from her performance during the 2016-17 season, she was named to the All-Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) Second Team.

Daughter of Ben and Amie Hughes… born in Janesville, Wisc…. majoring in exercise and sport science… has three brothers, Brandon, Eric and Denver.
