AS A SOPHOMORE (2022)
Made three starts and thirteen relief appearances his sophomore season... Registered a 1.40 with a 6-0 record while holding opposing batters to a .138 average... Struck out 76 batters in 51.1 innings... Rey's best outing of the season came against Florida Southern on 5/9/22, pitching 7.2 innings, striking out six, allowing just two hit, zero runs, and earning the Sharks the win.

AS A FRESHMAN (2021)
Made one start and eight relief appearances his freshman season... Registered a 5.68 ERA with a 2-1 record... Struck out 18 batters in 12.2 innings... His collegiate debut came against Florida Tech on 3/13/21, pitching 1.0 inning, striking out two batters, and allowing just one hit.

HIGH SCHOOL
Was a four-year letterman in baseball at Miami Springs Senior High School in Miami Springs, Florida under coach David Fanshawe.

Undecided on his major...Son of Carlos and Vivian Rey...Has a sister, Ashley... Notes his most memorable athletic achievement was when he went to the State Championships in high school.
