AS A SENIOR (2018-19)

Named to the Bevo Francis Top 50 Watch List… Named SSC Newcomer of the Year, the first Shark to do so in the seven-year history of the award… Named to the All-SSC First Team and All-SSC Newcomer Team… Third Shark in program history to earn All-SSC First Team honors, following Tim Coenraad (2008-09) and Chris Page (2014-15, 2015-16)… Named to the D2CCA All-South Region Team… Named to 2018 Spring SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll… Finished the season second among all Division II players in minutes per game (39:37), just seven seconds off the lead, and steals per game (3.56), less than a third of a steal per game behind the leader… Also tenth in the nation with 6.8 assists per game… Set the program’s all-time single-season steals record, demolishing the 25-year mark previously held by Tom Dana at 73… Also broke the single-season NCAA-era records for assists with 183 (previous record: Zak Kirchgassner, 166 in 2003-04) and field goals made with 184 (previous record: Chris Page, 182 in 2015-16), while falling just 13 points short of matching Page’s NCAA-era points record of 531 from the same season… Tied the NCAA-era single-game steals record of 7, which he accomplished three times: vs. Florida Tech (12/11) and back-to-back games road games against Rollins (1/6) and Embry-Riddle (1/10)… No player had recorded seven assists in a single game since Justin Jeangerard (2/16/13 vs. Tampa) and he is just the third player in the program’s 16 years as an NCAA Division II member (Kluis Wimbush, 12/28/02, at Valdosta State)… Distributed a career-high 12 assists in back-to-back games vs. Florida Tech (12/7) and NYIT (12/11), just one short of the NCAA-era single-game record and two short of the all-time record… Scored 30 or more points in three consecutive games: 31 vs. NYIT, 31 vs. Benedict (12/13) and a career-high 33 vs. Elizabeth City (12/19)… Played more than 40 minutes in all six of the Sharks’ overtime games, including a career-high 51 in the triple-overtime thriller against Caldwell (11/27)… Led the team in scoring (19.6 points per game), rebounding (6.4 per game, 164 total), assists, steals and minutes (1070 total), while shooting 48.0% from the field, 35.4% from beyond the arc and 78.1% at the line… Recorded a team-high five double-doubles, including three of points and assists and two of points and rebounds… Posted a 31-point, 12-assist double-double against NYIT and a 33-point, 10-rebound double-double just eight days later against Elizabeth City… earned three SSC weekly honors: Defensive Player of the Week on Nov. 20, following a pair of five-steal efforts in conference wins at Lynn and vs. Tampa; Player of the Week on Dec. 4, following an average of 18.5 points and 9.0 assists on 50% (16-32) shooting from the field in 47 minutes in a back-to-back overtime victories against Caldwell – 51-minute tour de force in triple-OT – and Florida Southern; and Player of the Week once again on Dec. 20, after his trio of 30-point efforts, in which he averaged 31.7 points and 8.3 assists in 41.0 minutes, while shooting 55.0% (33-60) from the field, 66.7% (6-9) from long distance and 82.1% (23-28) from the line… Finished the season with 1070 total minutes played, 518 points (19.2 per game), 166 rebounds (6.3 per game), 13 blocks, a 48.0% field goal percentage, 35.4% 3-point percentage and 78.1% free throw percentage.
