AS A SENIOR (2016) – Ran in four races during his final season as a Shark…Set a personal best in the 8k at the Sunshine State Conference Championship running 28:09.00…Ran 17:38.20 in the 5k at the FAU Invitational.

AS A JUNIOR (2016)
Competed as a Shark in a total of four cross country events, including the FAU Invitational 5K, the Florida Southern 8K, the Disney Classic 8K, and contributed to the Sharks overall second place in the Sunshine State Conference Championship 8K race.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2015)
Competed in eight events in…Set career-best times in the 400m dash, 600m dash, 800m run, 1,500m run and long jump...Clocked in at 50.83  in the 400m at the UCF Invitational, taking 12th...Finished fifth at the Peach Belt Championship in the 800m run with a career-best time of 1:54.57...Ran a time of 4:24.40 at the Miami Hurricane Invite and placed 20th...Also at conference, placed eighth in the long jump at 6.51m. 

AS A FRESHMAN (2014)
Competed in eight events… Competed in the 400-meters for a season best time of 51.19… Best time in the 800m was 1:56.34…Had best leap in the long jump with 6.38m… Marked 3:16.66 in the 4x400….Best time in the 4x100 was 42.37.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
Ran track and field and cross country for four seasons at Robert E. Lee HS under head coach Mike Waccholz...Ran a time of 4:53.42 in the 1,600m, 50.14 in the 400m and 1:55.14 in the 800m...Also competed on the basketball team for two seasons.

Born in Jacksonville, Florida…Majoring in accounting, a program that he says is what he likes most about NSU...Lists the Miami Heat and the Jacksonville Jaguars as his favorite sports teams...Lists the Fast and Furious movies as his favorite films...His favorite subject in school was math...Son of Gregory Edwards and Dana Peterson.
