Started and played in 13 matches as the Sharks' top goalkeeper...Battled an injury midway through the season, forcing him to miss three matches towards the back half of the season...Prior to his injury, Giombetti held a goals against average of 0.67 and was an early favorite for SSC Defensive Player of the Year...Logged 1124 minutes played throughout the year...Recorded 47 saves and shutout four opponents.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2012)
Started in 15 matches in goal for the Sharks and logged 1,364 minutes played…Logged five clean sheets…Earned 38 saves on the season…Held the opposition to 1.19 goals per game…Tied a season-best four saves in a shutout of No. 1 Lynn (9/29/2012), the eventual NCAA National Champions…Also earned four saves on the road against both Rollins (10/3/2012) and Tampa (10/17/2012).

AS A FRESHMAN (2011)
Appeared as a starter in 14 matches…Ranked second in the Sunshine State Conference with 62 saves…Ranked eighth on the NSU All-Time Saves List after just one season…Was part of four team shutouts…Held a save percentage of .765…Played for a total of 1,224 minutes.

Played two years at Istituo G. Visconti under head coach Manfredi Granese.
