Matt McArthur

Matt McArthur was promoted to the Nova Southeastern University Head Men's Soccer Coach in January of 2025. Following one season on the staff and serving as the assistant coach during the 2023 season. 

McArthur led the Sharks to a 7-5-3 record finishing for the 2024 season, including a 6-0-1 record at home. The Sharks returned to the Sunshine State Tournament as the No. 4 seed as they fell to the University of Tampa in Penalty Kicks in the Quarterfinals. McArthur coached several players to All- SSC selections including Kevin Rubaszewski (First Team) and Ade Olumuyiwa (First Team).

McArthur began his career as an assistant coach at the University of Mobile (2022) for the men's soccer program.

During his playing career, McArthur played as a central midfielder for the University of Mobile and was a two-time SSAC Second-Team All-Conference selection, while being selected to the SSAC All-Freshman Team in 2015. 

Matt graduated in 2019 with a degree in Kinesiology with a Teacher Certification at the University of Mobile. After graduation, he worked as a physical education teacher before enrolling in full-time education at the University of Mobile. In 2022, he graduated with his Master's in Business Communication and Leadership from Mobile.
