Jack Eichenlaub joined the Nova Southeastern University men’s and women’s swimming and diving in the fall of the 2014-15 season as a graduate assistant.
Prior to coming to NSU, Eichenlaub was the volunteer assistant coach at Bloomsburg University where he helped guide the Huskies to 21 new team records and arguably their best team finish in school history. During his time at BU, he composed all meet lineups and facilitated various workouts in both the short and long course facilities. His coaching experience began when he was the head coach at Sunny Willow Swim Club. Eichenlaub was responsible for the administrative duties, as well as managing 125 athletes, ages ranging from four to 18. He was first exposed to the Fort Lauderdale area when we worked the CSCAA Bob Mowerson Meet at the Swimming Hall of Fame Pool where he was responsible for operating the timing system during the meet and coordinating meet entries for all 16 Division I, II and III teams. Eichenlaub has also worked with the Misty Hyman Clinic, Maple Manor Swim Club and the Children’s Miracle Network.
A native of Ambler, PA, Eichenlaub graduated from Bloomsburg University in the May of 2014 with a bachelor’s degree of Arts in communication studies. He was a four-year member of BU’s varsity swimming and diving team, as well as captain his senior year. Eichenlaub swam in the 50, 100, and 200-yard freestyle and was a three-time PSAC Qualifier. While balancing being a student-athlete, he served as a Husky Ambassador at BU where his mission was to improve and advance the relationships between students, alumni and their communities.
Eichenlaub is currently pursuing his master’s in college student affairs.
