Nova Southeastern University head swimming coach Hollie Bonewit-Cron announced that Mike Kuzman will join the NSU staff as the assistant coach for men's and women's swimming and diving.      
 
"I am very happy to have Mike join our coaching staff," Bonewit-Cron said. "He brings a solid amount of experience in both coaching and recruiting that will help continue the success of our current student-athletes as well as the success of future student-athletes. His vision and direction will be an asset to NSU's program."
 
Kuzma comes to NSU after serving as the assistant coach at NCAA Division III University of La Verne under head coach Pat Skehan. While at La Verne, he helped several members of the team qualify for the Division III championships coached  two All-Americans.
 
Prior to his time at La Verne, Kuzma spend one season at his alma mater Mount Union (2011-12) as the assistant coach and one year as the assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Bethany College (2010-11).
 
Kuzma competed collegiately for two seasons at Mount Union where he was an eight-time All-OAC selection and was the Ohio Athletic Conference champion in the men's 400-yard individual medley in 2008 and 2009.
 
A native of Cocoa Beach, Fla., he earned a bachelor's degree in Sport Business with a minor in Business Administration at Mount Union and is currently working on a masters in Leadership and Management at the University of La Verne.
