AS A SENIOR (2017-18)
Earned the silver in both the 1000 free and 1650 free with times of 9:03.84 and 15:16.18, respectively, at the 2018 NCAA Div. II Championship, while placing third in the 500 free with a personal best time of 4:22.57, a school record… was named an NCAA All-American in all three events… took third place in the overall Sunshine State Conference Championships, tallying 62 points and earning two gold medals… his winning time of 9:02.20 in the 1000 free was an automatic qualifier while his B-Cut time of 15:23.94 in the 1,650 freestyle was a meet-record time… helped the 800 freestyle relay to a third-place finish at the SSC Championships with a time of 6:41.95… grabbed 14 other first-place finishes over the course of the season while also posting 14 NCAA B-cut times… earned a spot on the All-SSC First Team… was named CollegeSwimming National Swimmer of the week on Feb. 28... was named the Nova Southeastern men’s swimming team MVP.
 
AS A JUNIOR (2016-17)
Franco Lupoli claimed the title for Men’s 1000-yard Freestyle (9:01.02) at the NCAA Division Championship…Finished 2^nd for the 1650-yard Freestyle with a time of 15:14.30, 8^th in the 500-yard Freestyle (4:29.69), and 200-yard Freestyle (1:39.16). Lupoli was a member of the men’s 800-yard Freestyle Relay that claimed 3^rd with a time of 6:30.03…Named SSC Male Swimmer of the Meet at the SSC Championship…Claimed the title in the Men’s 200 Freestyle (1:37.91), 500 Freestyle (4:25.44), 1000 Freestyle (9:08.62), and the 1650 Freestyle (15:31.72)…As a member of the men’s relay, Lupoli assisted them with placing 1^st in the 800-yard Freestyle Relay (6:30.97), 11^th in the 200-yard Freestyle Relay (1:24.56), and 12^th in the 400-yard Freestyle Relay (3:05.85)…Finished first in the 200 Freestyle (1:42.83) and 500 Freestyle (4:46.98) at the home tri-meet…Won both the men’s 200 and 500 Freestyle finishing with provisional times of 1:40.52 and 4:36.66 against Florida Southern…Assisted Sickert, Lobanov, and Elder as a member of the 200 Freestyle Relay (1:23.35). Lupoli posted a best all season times and provisionally qualifying times for the NCAA Championships in the 1000 Freestyle (9:34.10) and the 500 Freestyle (4:35.98) at the Tampa dual meet.

Previous Experience
The junior transfer was an NCAA DII finalist in 2014.

Attended Cypress Bay HS where he swam for John Spire for two years…Was a state runner-up in the 200-yard freestyle…Also swam for Ricardo Martinez for eleven years at Santiago de Leon de Caracas.
