Biography



HIGH SCHOOL
In high school while attending Ridgewood High School he swam for four years…His senior year he contributed to a team conference championship and district championship, a runner-up finish at regionals…At states in he finished 7th in the 200 free and the100 back…His experience at states ranks as his most memorable athletic moment because he made the finals after coming back from a traumatic injury…He was named most valuable swimmer, a SAC swimmer of the year, first team all-conference and was a team captain…As a high school athlete Geschke was received All Academic Honors, Cum Laude, the National Scholar Athlete Award, and the Excellence in Social Sciences award…He is a Ashley Morrison scholarship and West Pasco Community Service Council scholarship recipient…

CAREER
Was a Spanish Junior Champion in two events, during the summer of 2009.

CLUB EXPERIENCE
He swam for the TBAY Tampa Bay Aquatics club team and was coached by Casey Claflin…

PERSONAL
Prior to the start of competition Geschke likes to make the sign of the cross on the starting blocks…He has logged over 400 hours of community service at HP Hospice…He choose NSU because of the competition, the campus and how nice the people are at NSU…His favorite foods are steak, fish and pasta...His favorite movie is Hangover and his favorite television show is Swamp People…swimming, family and friends is everything to Geschke, his mother is Katy Geschke
