Swam for four years for the Allen HS Eagles... was the varsity swim captain... named to the Texas All-State Second Team 100-Yard Backstroke.
PERSONAL
Son of Alex and Galina Samsonov, and has one sibling, Ekat...majoring in business management... most memorable athletic achievement was getting the Junior Nationals Cut for the first time in the 200 backstroke... picked NSU because he loved the campus and the energy and culture within the team... his dad, Alex, has been most influential in his life because he can do anything he puts his mind to and always does his best at what he's doing... Alex inspired Luka to never give up and continuously work his hardest through the ups and downs.
