Swam for four years at Belle Vernon Area HS… during his senior year, he was the WPIAL Champion in the 200 IM and 100 breaststroke, setting a meet record in the 100 breast… was a PIAA State Champion in the 100 breast and a bronze medalist in the 200 IM… during his time as a Leopard he was a 2x WPIAL Champion in the 200 IM and 100 Breast and was named a Scholastic All-American in 2017-2018 and 2018-2019.
PERSONAL
Son of Bob and Lisa Spekis… majoring in marine biology… says his most memorable athletic achievement is winning the PIAA state championship and having a role in a team finish of 4th his senior year, the highest in school history… says his family has been the most influential in his life because they are always supporting him and pushing him to be the best that he could be.
