2025-26 SEASON
NCAA All-American with fourth place finish in the 200 yard backstroke at the NCAA Championships in Evansville with a personal best 1:43.76 in the event finals... Was named to the CSC Academic All-District South Team... Went nearly undefeated in the 200 back in the regular season, placed second at the SSC Championships in the event.
PRIOR TO NOVA SOUTHEASTERN
Attended Barry University, where he swam for two years.
HIGH SCHOOL
Attended Nicolae Balcescu Romanian High School, where he swam for four years. He placed second in nationals two years in a row.
PERSONAL
Son of Gabor Nagy and Erika Nagyne Mate... has one brother... says that placing second nationally is his most memorable athletic achievement... is majoring in Finance... appreciates the professors and swim team's enthusiasm the most about NSU... names his mother as the most influential person in his life.
