AS A SOPHOMORE (2008-09)
CROSS COUNTRY: Among NSU's top pack of runners...Finished in the Top-15 at three meets...Ran a career-best 8K time of 26:29 at the Sunshine State Conference Championships (10/25), placing 14th out of 51 runners...Traversed the 8K course at the FLRunners.com Invitational presented by Nike (10/4) in a time of 26:53.06, placing seventh out of 96 runners...Was 15th out of 69 runners at the Florida Tech Invitational (9/13), covering the 8K course in a time of 27:07...Had a career-best 10K time of 34:17 at the NCAA Division II South Region Championships (11/8), finishing 34th of 113...TRACK: Had NSU’s top times in the 1,500, 3,000 and 5,000 meters...Set a new NSU record in the 5,000 meters, clocking 15:29.92 at the Pepsi Florida Relays (4/3-4)...Was second in the 5,000 meters at the Hurricane Invitational (3/20-21) with a time of 15:36.23...Placed fifth with a time of 15:36.85 in the 5,000 meters at FSU Relays (3/26-28)...Recorded a personal-best 1,500-meter time of 4:05.43 and placed fifth at Miami Elite (4/11)...Was sixth in the 1,500 meters at both the USF Open (3/6) and the FAU Twilight Invitational (3/14)...Ran a career-best 9:00.82 in the 3,000 meters at the USF Open, which placed 10th...Placed third in the 3,000 meters at Miami Elite...Ran the third leg of the 4x800-meter relay that clocked a school record time of 8:15.38 and placed second at the Embry-Riddle Last Chance (2/21)...Anchored the winning 4x800-meter relay at FSU Relays that registered a time of 8:23.15.

CROSS COUNTRY: Had a season-best 8K time of 27:52 at the Sodexho Stetson Hatter Invitational (10/12)..Placed 16th at the SCC Championships with an 8K time of 27:59.80, helping NSU to a third-place team finish...Was sixth at the Jaguar Invitational (9/22) with a 10K time of 35:52.47...Top 10K time came at the South Regional Championships (11/3), finishing in a time of 34:18.2...TRACK: Finished fifth in the 10,000 meters at the Division II South Region Championships (5/5) with a time of 34:02...Ran a season-best 1,500-meter time of 4:21.68 at the Hurricane Invitational (3/22)...Set a then-personal record in the 3,000 meters at Miami Elite (4/12) with a time of 9:34.82...Ran the 800 meters once, clocking 2:04.50 at the Hurricane Invitational (3/22).
