AS A SOPHOMORE (2017)
Competed in the discus and shot put during his first season with the Sharks…Placed fourth in the shot put at the Peach Belt Conference Championship at 13.28m, season best was 13.34m at FAMU Relays…Threw a season-best 34.96m in the discus at the Florida Division II Challenge.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
Before NSU, the sophomore transfer threw discus and shot put for John Foss at Indiana Wesleyan University…Tossed a personal best 14.02m in the shot put at the Taylor Classic…Personal best in the discus at the 2016 Crossroads League Championships throwing 38.11m.
HIGH SCHOOL
Attended high school at Park Tudor School where he played football for three years and competed in track for four years…Coached by Ryan Ritz, Lowry holds the school record in the shot put and was named the Field MVP his senior season.
