AS A SOPHOMORE (2013)
Tran earned All-Region honors in the 10,000-meter run where he came in ninth at the conference championship with a time of 33:05.32. He also competed in the 1,500-meter run where he came in 12th with a time of 4:10.03. He competed in the 10,000-meter run at the prestigious Drake Relays, where he came in 40th with a season-best time of 32:24.44. This is an exact minute off his time at the Florida Relays.

Ran four years of cross country at Oscar Frommel Smith High School.
