AS A JUNIOR (2021)
Finished her junior season with a 7-5 record, posting a 1.28 ERA after allowing 22 runs (15 ER) on 70 hits in 82.0 innings… all 10 games started, she pitched the distance, seeing appearances in three other games… logged three shutouts… delivered 37 strikeouts and 21 walks… handed out a season-high six strikeouts on April 1.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2020)
Started 16 of 17 games played as one of NSU’s starting pitchers, finishing with a 10-6 record, fourth most wins by any pitcher in the conference… posted a 2.01 ERA from 108.0 innings of work, best on the team and ranked her seventh in the SSC… pitched 13 complete games with two shutouts… allowed 89 hits and 35 runs (31 ER), walking 36 while striking out 70… her 70 strikeouts ranked her seventh in the league… was named to the 2020 Spring Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
Appeared in eight games at Florida Gulf Coast University boasting a 4.34 ERA in 9.2 IP in relief… struck out four batters… finished with an 0-1 record.

2017 and 2018 NYS Class A Player of the Year... 2016, 2017 and 2018 NYS Champion... 2015-18 All-STAC and All-Conference nominee... 2017 and 2018 NYS All-State First Team… two-time Gatorade Player of the Year nominee.
 
PERSONAL
Daughter of Jamie and Sandy Hess and has two siblings, Jamie and Olivia… majoring in elementary education… says her most memorable athletic achievement was winning states for the first time in school history… says Jennie Finch has been most influential in her life because she is an important influencer for many young softball girls and she has always looked up to her and inspired to be like her since she first started playing the game.
