Biography

AS A SOPHOMORE (2019)
A two-way player for the Sharks, appearing in 31 games, making 24 starts in the circle… was named to the All-SSC Second Team and D2CCA All-South Region Second Team... finished the season with a 17-7 record while compiling a stunning 1.39 ERA, striking out 85 in 176.1 innings… held opponents to a .209 batting average… pitched 20 complete games, nine shutouts and recorded two saves… pitched a season-high nine shutout innings against Saint Leo (Mar. 17)… recorded eight strikeouts in eight shutout innings against Eckerd (Apr. 5)… ended the season with four complete games, giving up only one run in 28 innings pitched (Apr. 18-Apr. 27)… one of five Sharks to start in all 50 games played… finished third on the roster after posting a .257 batting average, with a homer and 15 RBI…third on the team with 37 hits in 144 at-bats… had 10 walks and was hit by four pitches… went a perfect 4-for-4, scoring a season-high four runs at Barry (Mar. 10)… drove in two RBI at Palm Beach Atlantic (Apr. 27)… had nine multi-hit games on the year… named to the 2019 Spring Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
Bringing NCAA Div. I experience to the squad, Schmoll joins the Sharks after one season at the University of South Florida. During her time as a Bull, she appeared in eight games and finished with an ERA of 3.89. During her high school career, she finished with a .538 batting average, 93 RBI and 15 homeruns offensively, while in the circle she posted a 0.56 ERA with 705 strikeouts after facing 1,498 batters. During her senior season in 2017, she threw six no-hitters, including five perfect games, to go along with 11 shutouts. She accumulated many awards throughout her four years at Bayshore HS, including 2014 Bradenton Herald Pitcher of the Year, 2014 HT Preps Pitcher of the Year, 2016 Bradenton Herald and HT Preps Player of the Year, 2016 Bright House Player of the Year, and many more. Academically, she finished at the top of her class at Bayshore, while also graduating with an associate's degree from SCF.

PERSONAL
Born in Pembroke Pines, Fla…. majoring in speech language & communication disorders with a minor in applied behavior analysis… daughter of Shawn and Stacy Schmoll and has a sister, Kelsey, and a brother, Rivers… says that her aunt with special needs is easily the most influential person in her life because she carries herself with such grace and treats everyone that she comes across with beautiful kindness and her pure heart is what Schmoll aspires to project on a daily basis.
