Trice joined the Nova Southeastern women's basketball staff in the summer of 2025 as an assistant coach after one season as an assistant coach at Barry University.
During the 2024-25 season at Barry University, Trice helped the Buccaneers to a 19-10 record, leading the Sunshine State Conference in points per game, rebounds per game, and steals per game. Senior guard Audrey Jennings was named First-Team All Sunshine State Conference, and freshman point guard Kaliyah Morales was named the SSC Freshman of the Year.
Before joining the Sunshine State Conference, Trice spent two seasons at NCAA Division II Lander University in Greenwood, S.C. She helped turn the Bearcats around from an 8-19 team in 2022-23 to a 19-11 squad that reached the Peachbelt Conference Tournament semifinals. Senior guard WyKira Johnson-Kelly was named First-Team All-Southeast Region and All-PBC First Team after averaging 17.5 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game.
Trice came to Greenwood after spending the last two years at Greensboro College as the assistant coach for the Pride under current Sharks head coach Heather Macy. During the 2021-22 season, Trice was a part of a staff that helped coach the Pride to a program-best 25-2 record with a conference record of 17-1, earning them the USA South Regular Season Title. Trice mentored two All-USA South First Team players in Lauren Livingston and TaKeria Legette. The Pride finished in the top 10 of scoring offenses nationally, at over 84 points per game, as well as ninth in scoring margin (24.4 points) and 13th in field goal percentage (34.2 percent).
Before coaching in Greensboro, Trice played professionally overseas in Finland (Vimpelin Veto) during the 2019-2020 season, where she was named Player of the Week for round 11 and was Vive’s top player. Trice also finished the season as the league’s third-highest scorer with 21.1 points per game, adding 1.7 blocks and 2.1 steals per contest. Before playing in Finland, Mixed, in her professional career, had a stint as an operations manager with the Atlanta Dream in the summer of 2019. Additionally, Trice also previously played professionally in Belgium, Switzerland, and Luxembourg, where she was selected to the Eurobasket.com All-Belgian League Second Team (2018), Eurobasket.com All-Swiss SBL Honorable Mention (2017), and Eurobasket.com Luxembourg League All-Imports Team (2016).
Before playing internationally, Trice was the head JV Girls' Basketball coach and assistant Varsity Girls' Basketball coach at her alma mater, Dutchtown High School in Hampton, Ga.
Trice played for Macy at East Carolina from 2012-15, leading the Pirates to the WNIT. During that time, Trice was the Pirates’ leading scorer and helped guide the team to consecutive 22-win seasons. Additionally, Trice was named Second Team All-Conference USA and was awarded the Most Valuable Pirate Award, while being named to the NCCSIA All-State Women’s Basketball Second Team after averaging 15.2 points per game.
Before transferring to ECU, Trice played at UNC Wilmington 2010-12 under former Olympic Gold Medalist and Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) Most Valuable Player, Cynthia Cooper-Dyke, while making two consecutive postseason appearances in the WNIT.
She scored 1,196 points for her career, grabbed 454 rebounds, and dished out 116 assists in 122 games.
She graduated from East Carolina University in 2015 with a bachelor's in communications. In 2023, she earned her master's degree in psychology from Grand Canyon University.
