Zevon Stubblefield was promoted to Assistant Athletic Director, Sports Medicine at Nova Southeastern University in August of 2010. While exercising his administrative duties, Zevon is also the athletic trainer for the men’s soccer and  women’s rowing teams at NSU. Stubblefield, who joined the Sharks in July of 2006, has also served as an athletic trainer for the women's basketball and women’s tennis teams before taking his current position. Stubblefield also served as an adjunct instructor of Strength & Conditioning in the Farquhar College of Arts & Sciences. Zevon holds certifications in Graston Technique and Functional Movement Screening.
 
Stubblefield earned his Bachelor's degree in athletic training/sports medicine from the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, FL. From there, he earned a Master’s degree in Exercise & Sport Science at Florida International University, in Miami, FL.  Stubblefield brings a multitude of experience to the athletic training staff. His athletic training career has seen him everywhere from the high school to professional level including USA Taekwondo, Jacksonville Jaguars, LLC., and Miami Dolphins, LLC.
 
Prior to joining NSU, Stubblefield was the head athletic trainer at Everglades High School in Miramar, FL.
 
A south Florida native, Stubblefield currently resides in Sunrise, FL.
