AS A FRESHMAN (2021-22)
"Pistol" became a constant contributor to the Sharks lineup as the calendar flipped to 2022 and made an immediate impact as the NSU point guard... the freshman appeared in 22 games, starting 14... Brinson finished the campaign tied for fourth on the Sharks in assists (38), recording a season-best of six against Palm Beach Atlantic in Sunshine State Conference action, the freshman played a season-high 33 minutes in the contest, as well...
HIGH SCHOOL
During her senior season at Central Christian, Brinson averaged 21.3 points, 5.7 rebounds, 6.2 assists, and 5.0 steals per game while recording a 56 percent shooting percentage from the field and 35 percent from deep... led her team to a 29-7 overall record, and ultimately the program's third DI-A Georgia State Championship title... over the course of her career, she was awarded a copious amount of honors including All-County (three times), All-State (three times) and was a two-time National Association of Christian Athletes All-American... her career highs include: 37 points, 12 rebounds, 11 assists and 13 steals... also achieved the remarkable feat of a triple double, not once, but three times during her high school career (24 points, 10 rebounds and 11 steals vs. Peachtree Academy on Dec. 10, 2019, 20 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists vs. Camp Jewell on Jan. 16, 2020 and 19 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists vs. John Hancock on Feb. 21, 2020 during the State Final Four).
PERSONAL
Daughter of Ta-Nika and Lardell Brinson and has six siblings, Karen, Keyana, Jaia, Malique, Trinity, and Lex... pursuing a degree in psychology... says her most memorable athletic achievement was winning her third state championship... says the most influential person in her life is her mom because she has always kept her going and has been her number 1 supporter from the beginning.
