Biography
AS A FRESHMAN (2016) – Ran in every race for the Sharks this season. Was the top runner for the Sharks in the 5k races finishing first for the team and in the top-10 overall, tenth twice and third…Became the first NSU runner to receive SSC Runner of the Week multiple times in a season in four years…Runner of the Week awards came from her performances in the FAU Invitational and USF Invitational.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
Played basketball and ran cross country and track at Bolivar HS…Cross country coach was Ron Bandy…Broke the school record for the 800m with a time of 2:16.60…Was a member of the 4x800m team that broke the school record and won the state championship…Received All-State in cross country.

Majoring in arts and graphic design…Born in Bolivar, Missouri...Most memorable athletic achievement was breaking her sisters’ school record in the 800m…Names her father, Gerard as the most influential person in her life because he has set an amazing example for all of his kids and she wouldn’t be the person she is today without him…Favorite food is watermelon…Favorite movie is Almost Famous and favorite actors are Kate Hudson and Johnny Depp…Favorite show is Seinfeld…Hobbies include running, painting, writing, exploring and hoola hooping…Favorite subject in school is English...Daughter Gerard and Brenda Porter…Has eight siblings, Mikaela, Kassidy, Grady, Whitney, Camille, Jillian, Brielle and Ellaina.
