Biography
AS A TRACK AND FIELD SOPHOMORE (2019)
Raced in seven meets for the Sharks, capped off by the Peach Belt Championships (4/20) in Daytona Beach, logging a third-place 3000m steeplechase finish in a career-best 11:37.59 and a career-best 4:54.18 in the 1500m for sixth place – adding scores toward the NSU women’s team’s third-place rank…Also at the PBC, helped the 4x400m relay to a seventh-place finish in 4:12.89…Finishing 10th in the event at the Miami Hurricane Invitational (3/15), recorded a personal best in the 800m at 2:19.90.
AS A CROSS COUNTRY SOPHOMORE (2018)
Competed in six meets during the year, logging a scoring performance each time on the course…Led the Shark performers at the NCAA DII South Regional Championships (11/17) in Lakeland, Fla., recording a career-best 6k time of 23:31.0 to finish 39th overall…Delivered a career-best 19:16.0 at the Mountain Dew Gator Cross Country Invitational (9/22)…Named to the Sunshine State Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll and a USTFCCCA NCAA Division II Cross Country All-Academic Athlete.
PRIOR TO NSU
Competed one season in cross country and track at Tennessee Wesleyan in Athens, Tenn…Finished third at the Appalachian Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships in the 800m with a season-best time of 2:22.67, the second-best time in TWU program history…also ran a season-best 1500m of 5:04.15 and competed on numerous relays for the Bulldogs,anchoring the 4x400m (4:01.29) and 4x800m (9:50.55) to AAC outdoor championships…In cross country at TWU, ran a top 4k time of 16:01.5 and top 5k of 20:11.9, placing 29th at the AAC Championships.
