AS A FRESHMAN (2018-19)
Named to the Spring SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll… Rowed on three crews during the FIRA Championships at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota, with the junior varsity eights producing a pair of fourth-place finishes on times of 7:37.82 and 7:46.27, finishing fourth in the freshman/novice eight at 7:46.27 and also coming in sixth in 8:43.83 in the freshman/novice four.
HIGH SCHOOL
Played basketball at Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science for two seasons...Was the Gold Cord Recipient for accruing 185 volunteer hours and starting a successful club...Represented District 12 of the Texas Regional System for the COSERV Youth Leadership Tour...Was the recipient of the TAMS Summer Research Scholarship.
PERSONAL
Hails from Lewisville, TX....Studying Biology with a minor in International Studies, Business and Finance...Daughter of Vivek and Kamna Kapil...Has two siblings, Avika and Lily...The challenge of academics and the physicality of rowing on the water is her favorite part of NSU... Her Organic Chemistry professor, Dr. Aukszi, has had such a big influence on her because she showed her what it means to be truly confident.
