Biography

AS A FRESHMAN (2024-25)
Was a part of the 4+ boat in the Regatta against Barry on November 10th, posting a time of 9:33.

PRIOR TO NSU
Competed on the rowing team at St. John the Baptist High School where she earned the Most Improved Award in 2021 and the Coaches Award in 2023... placed second in the Women's HS Varsity at the Cougar Classic Indoor Regatta 2022; 1st Women's JV 4 at Row to Fight Regatta 2022; 1st Women's V 4 at Row to Fight Regatta 2023; 3rd Women's JV 4 Long Island Scholastic Invite 2023; 2nd Women's JV 8 at Long Island Scholastic Invite 2023; 1st Women's JV 4 at Snowflake Regatta 2022. Also was a part of the women's swimming team, was recognized with All-League Honors in. Earned two individual 8th place finishes & two 3rd place relays at NSCHSGAA Championship Meet. Named the Trainer Joe Sportsmanship Award recipient. During the NSCHSGAA Championships, earned an individual 8th place finish & two 3rd place relay finishes and also added three individual USA Swimming A Times. In the classroom, Johannesen was recognized with Global 1 Honors Medal; Wind Ensemble Medal; Summa Cum Laude honors 2020-2024; Honor Societies: Tri-M Music Honor Society; National English Honor Society; Spanish Honor Society; Rho Kappa National Social Studies Honor Society; New York State Science Honor Society. 

Outside rowing, Charlotte plays the clarinet and saxophone; was in mathletes; lifeguards at a snorkel tank with mermaids and tropical fish; watches a lot of nature documentaries and went through a 7-year beach lifeguarding program
