Samantha Sarff joined the NSU rowing team staff in August 2012.
Prior to coming to NSU, Sarff coached for the club rowing team at the University of Florida from 2011-2012. While at Florida, she helped coach the women’s novice team to a No. 3 national ranking in the club division. The novice 8+ placed fourth in the open category grand finals of the SIRA Championships, first place at the FIRA Championships, tenth place at the Head of the Chattahoochee, and had first, second and third place finishes at the Fall FIRA regatta. Sarff also had rowers take first place at Southern Sprints in the college novice lightweight division, as well as second and third place in the college novice open division.
Sarff graduated from Central Florida in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies. While at UCF, she was a member of the UCF women’s rowing team, team captain, co-president of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee and a CRCA Scholar-Athlete.
Sarff is currently pursuing her master’s degree in athletic administration.
