Along with coaching for First Coast, Tkacz also has experience being a trainer at TitanUp Fitness where she helped people reach their personal fitness goals through weight lifting and nutrition.

Prior to being a collegiate athlete, Tkacz rowed for Oakcrest High school in Mays Landing, NJ. She also spent her time there both swimming and running cross country.

“I am ready to use my experience as a coach to take on a new, higher level of athletes," Tkacz said at the time of her hiring. "I would like to take my love and knowledge of the sport as well as my passion for living an active, healthy life and pass it along to a group of motivated athletes. My goal is to empower this group of women to break barriers and be the best version of themselves they can be each and every day, both on and off the water. I’m hoping that what I bring to the table will help lead the team to more success in the upcoming year. I am looking forward to being a Shark!”
