During her high school career, Murphy placed 2nd U17 4X+ (NZ Secondary Schools 2023), 2nd U18 4X+ (NZ Secondary Schools 2023), NZ U18 North vs South Trialist 2023, 2nd U17 8+ (North islands 2022), 2nd U18 8+, 2nd U17 4X+, 2nd U18 4X+ (North Islands 2023), 3rd U18 4+ (North Islands 2023), Captain of Rowing 2022/23 season, Awarded The Most Promising Senior Oarsperson - The Bunny Family Oar presented by H E Bunny, Captain of Rowing 1995, U16 Most Outstanding Rower. Murphy also was a part of the Whanganui Collegiate School girls 1st XI hockey team 2020-2023 (Captain 2023), winner of Jenny Hair Cup tournament 2023, Girls' 1st XI All Round Contribution - Murphy Trophy, Girls' 1st XI Captain's Cup - The Wilbur Cup. 

Outside of rowing, Murphy enjoys going to the gym, can play the piano, staying active
