Competed in the JV-8 in Rollins Spring Break Race…Competed on the N4 in Central Oklahoma…Competed in the N8 in the FIRA Fall Classic and Rollins Spring Break Races.
NSU SWIMMING AND DIVING BIO:
AS A FRESHMAN (2011-12)
In the women’s 1000-yard freestyle, Bergen was the top finisher for the Sharks in third place with a time of 11:02.40 at Indian River & Florida International University…Swimming against Florida Southern she lead off for the Sharks in the women’s 1650-free and claiming the victory with a finishing time of 18:03.57 and placed second with a time of 5:20.61 in the 500-free…At the SCC Championships she went personal best times in all her events.. In the 500-free she recorded a time of 5:10.97, in the 1000-free she recorded a time of 10:33.82 and in the 1650-free she recorded a time of 17:37.40.
CLUB EXPERIENCE
Swam for Manitoba Marlins Swim Club under coach Dave Guthrie… She was a Canadian Age Group National Championship Qualifier and a Western Canadian Championship Qualifier.
PERSONAL
Biology major… Michael Phelps is her favorite athlete… Daughter of Theresa Sullivan and Hugo Bergen, has one sibling Ryan.
