Rachael Reid

Rachael Reid began her collegiate campaign at the University of Nevada Las Vegas from 2007-2009. During her first year at UNLV, she helped the team win the Mountain West Conference, starting in 10 games as a defender. She was named an Academic AllConference player. During the 2008 season, UNLV broke into the nation's top-25 for the first time in school history. After a red-shirt year in 2009, Rachael transferred to Nova Southeastern University.

While at NSU, Reid started in every game (32) as a Shark, logging 2275 minutes, while winning a conference championship in 2010 and collecting individual awards in 2011. As the team captain her senior year, Reid led the team in assists (6), was named the team's MVP and was named an SSC All-conference and NSCAA All-Region player.

Reid began her coaching soccer in high school when she trained  the Lil' Kickers program. She volunteered as a coach in the spring of 2011 with the Davie United Soccer Club and is now the head coach for the  DUSC U-11 girls team.

Reid graduated from NSU in May 2012 with a B.S. in Exercise and Sport Science. She is now in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at NSU and will graduate in 2016.

Her parents, Bill and Susan, reside in her hometown on Plainfield, Ind., while her brother resides in Minneapolis, Minn.

Reid lists her favorite activities as running, SCUBA diving, traveling and watching the Indianapolis Colts.
