She began playing soccer at age 7 the game quickly became her passion... She looks up to Colombian National Team defender Manuela Vanegas for her style of play, while her grandmother serves as her biggest inspiration because of her resilience, strength, and ability to overcome adversity... During the offseason, she focused on improving her physical fitness in the gym and enjoyed playing futsal with friends... She chose NSU because of its competitive environment, attractive style of play, and strong academic and athletic opportunities... The biggest adjustment has been finding a new sense of family and belonging away from home, and she is excited to be part of a culture that challenges her to improve, learn, and grow every day.
