Swam for two years at Sioux Falls… as a sophomore, was named an NCAA Div. II All-American in the 100 backstroke after placing seventh in the event at the championships… received All-American honorable mention honors with her 13th place finish in the 200 backstroke… clocked a meet record of 53.7 in 100 backstroke and a meet record 1:59.75 in the 200 backstroke at the NSIC Swimming and Diving Championships, earning her the title of NSIC Swimmer of the Meet… was named NSIC Swimmer of the Week three times… during her freshman season, she finished as national runner-up in the 200 backstroke and became the first All-American in program history as she took third in 100 backstroke… was named a Scholar All-American in both 2017-18 and 2018-19 and was awarded the title of USF Swimmer of the Year in 2019.
 
PERSONAL
Daughter of Nigel and Jeanette Wright and has one sister, Jessica… majoring in business management… says her most memorable athletic achievement was coming in second in the 200 backstroke at the NCAA Div. II National Championships… says her parents have always been the most influential people in her life because they have been extremely encouraging in helping her stay on track to reaching her goals.
