Lupoli joins the NSU swimming staff after a stellar two-year career as a Shark, where he was crowned an NCAA Div. II Champion and finished a six-time All American. Lupoli currently holds the Nova Southeastern record times in the 500 freestyle (4:22.57), 1,000 freestyle (9:01.02) and the 1,650 freestyle (15:14.30).
 
As a senior, he earned the silver in both the 1000 free and 1650 free at the 2018 NCAA Div. II Championship, while placing third in the 500 free. Lupoli took third place overall in the 2018 Sunshine State Conference Championships, tallying 62 points and earning two gold medals in the 1,000 and 1,650 freestyle races. From his performance over the year, he was named to the All-SSC First Team and was named the Nova Southeastern men’s swimming team MVP.
 
During his junior season, Lupoli earned his NCAA champion title in the men’s 1,000-yard freestyle with his program-best time of 9:01.02, while also finishing second for the 1,650-yard freestyle and eighth in both the 500-yard freestyle and 200-yard freestyle. During the 2017 SSC Championships, he was named SSC Male Swimmer of the Meet after claiming the title in the  200 freestyle, 500 freestyle, 1,000 freestyle and the 1,650 freestyle. He also assisted the men’s 800-yard freestyle relay to a first-place finish.
