AS A JUNIOR (2018-19)
Was named an NCAA Honorable Mention All-American in the 200 IM after finishing 14th with her time of 2:03.67… was a four-time finalist and posted three NCAA B-cut times at the 2019 Sunshine State Conference Championships… earned a silver medal in the 200 IM in 2:01.12, a career-best… finished in fourth and fifth place in the 100 breast and 200 breast, respectively, also posting career-best times… was also named to the All-SSC Second Team… finished second in the 200 IM at the 2018 Spartan Invitational in 2:04.12, sixth in the 100 breast (1:04.83), eighth in the 50 free in a season-best 24.25 and posted an NCAA B-cut time in the 100 fly in 55.92, finishing ninth.

Earned Pac-12 All-Academic Honorable Mention honors while swimming at Arizona State University.
 
HIGH SCHOOL
Was named a USA Swimming Scholastic All-American… named to both the First and Second Team All-Continental League… is a Chaparral High School record holder (50 free, 200 free, 100 breast, 100 fly, 200 IM, 200 free relay, 200 medley relay)… Three-time Colorado All-Star Team selection, Colorado Zone team member and is a two-time Winter Junior National qualifier.
 
PERSONAL
Daughter of Todd and Nancy Gassen with one brother, Matthew… majoring in biology with a minor in communications… says her dad has been the most influential in her life because he has always been a constant in her life and he has shown her that no matter what, life will get better as long as you stay positive and make the most of it. He has been my biggest supporter in all that she does.
