AS A JUNIOR (2012-13)
At the SSC swimming championships, Akoubian was fourth in the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 2:08.18. She was fifth and sixth in the 100 and 200-yard breastroke with a times of 1:06.35 and 2:23.48, respectively. Swimming at the Shark Invitational, Akoubian placed sixth and 10th in the 200 and 400-yard IM with times of 2:10.72 and 4:39.42, respectively. She also competed in the 100 and 200-yard breastrokes placing 10th and eighth with times of 1:08.75 and 2:27.36.
CAREER
Swam under Rick Creed at Mill Creek High School…also swam two years under Donald Gibb at Daytona State College…was part of the Swim Atlanta club team.
PERSONAL
Business major….Daughter of Jamie and Casey, has two sisters Sara (who also swims for NSU) and Sydney.
